Here's the inside scoop
Our story
The company was started in 2011 by Julie, featured on the left of the strip above. The company name for over 12 years was Jewelz Entertainment Services. At the time, the only service was face painting for children's events. The mission of the business was simply to provide flexible income as she started a family. During this process she met Lydia (to the far right) and they began to include balloon twisting into the options. Quickly though, clients mentioned a need for balloon decorations. Julie and Lydia built out a selection of products and processes to make balloon decorations to suit all sizes of events.
Over the years, the mission has evolved to provide stable but flexible jobs for local talent as well as add color, excitement and ease to event planning in Ocala Florida and the surrounding areas. We have added team members and expanded into a brick and mortar location to be able to better serve the community. This location allows for in store consultations, local balloon pick up and a hub for event professionals to find supplies, host classes and network. We are now "The Balloon Design Workshop".

Some of the venues we have had the privilege of serving are The Village Polo Club, The Sharon, Marion Theater, World Equestrian Center, The India Association Cultural Center, Golden Ocala as well as almost all of the Country Clubs in Ocala.
